Japanese Exchange

Ichihara Chuo is a well-respected senior high school in Chiba, Tokyo, with whom we have enjoyed a wonderful reciprocal relationship for more than 10 years. Each year Faith host the Ichihara Chuo Sister School Japanese students for ten days. They seamlessly integrate themselves into the Faith community, forming special bonds with both students and staff members.

During their stay each Japanese student is paired with a buddy and together they enjoy a range of enriching activities. From participating in an Australian cooking class led by our hospitality students, complete with a delightful morning tea, to engaging in an Aboriginal workshop where they acquire new skills, their time with us is packed with diverse experiences.

A heart-warming Sayonara party is organized before their departure, bringing together host families and our guest students for a memorable dinner & performances.

Faith is also hosted by Ichihara when we visit Japan on International excursions.
