The Active@Faith Program aims to inspire and empower students to lead active, healthy lifestyles through a variety of sports and fitness activities fostering a sense of community and personal growth.
Our overarching objective has always been to ensure that our students not only excel in their respective sports but also develop essential life skills that can be learned through being a part of a Faith Falcon team.
The Active@Faith guiding pillars of Participation, Empowerment, Partnership, Performance and above all, the element of fun, are what shapes the foundation of our Sports program.

Representative Sport
SLAPS
Our primary students actively participate in the Southern Lutheran Association Primary Schools Sport (SLAPS) competitions, encompassing swimming, cross country and athletics. To earn a sought after position on our SLAPS representative teams, students must showcase their skills and dedication by competing in our thrilling inter-house competition.
If nominating for multiple sports, please complete separate forms for each sport. Once your nomination has been received, the students who are accepted to attend trials will be notified when each sport/trial is released by the Bayside District officials. Team trials are scheduled throughout Terms 1, 2 and 3.

Bayside District Trials (other than Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics)
Before a student can be nominated to attend a Bayside District trial, the following requirements need to be met to be considered:
- Is the correct age (10-19 years) to attend the trial.
- Has prior experience playing the sport at a representative level, either through school and/or club (must be Division 1 or equivalent).
- Has demonstrated a high level of performance of a wide range of skills specific to the sport.
- Has good knowledge of the rules of the sport and playing positions (where applicable).
- If the student is at the lower end of the age bracket (e.g. a 10 or 11 year old attending an Under 12 trial) they must be considered to be of suitable physical size, fitness level and skill level to compete against older students without causing safety concerns.
- Has a high level of attendance and behaviour at school.
If you consider that your child fits the above Bayside District selection criteria, use the age appropriate link below to nominate for your chosen sport. Trials for some sports will commence in February.
