AHEP Success!

The State Honours Ensemble Program is an educational program for music students that helps extend and encourage their pursuit of musical excellence. 2018 saw the inaugural Australian Honours Ensemble Program (AHEP) with a Wind Orchestra, String Orchestra and Vocal Ensemble and now includes the Symphony Orchestra and Big Band which were previously part of SHEP Queensland. AHEP is an extension of the State Honours Ensemble Program (SHEP).

Madeleine Boyce and Charlotte Boyce were nominated and completed an audition for a panel of Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University Specialist Staff.

Both students were successful in their application and have been selected to participate and represent Faith in this year’s Australian Honours Ensemble Program!

This is a great achievement for both girls as the standard is extremely high, with students nominated from across Queensland.

We look forward to hearing of your experience with AHEP in September.

2021 Mid Semester Music Workshops

During the mid-semester break (Monday 12 July – Friday 16 July) our specialist music tutors will be hosting music workshops for beginners through to advanced students. This is a great opportunity to come and try something new under the expertise of our talented music staff. This is your chance to make music by learning a new instrument, writing a song, learning to play a new piece of music and play together with other students from the College.

Please note student supervision is limited to the session times and break times only. Students will need to be dropped off just prior to the start of the session and picked up at the end of the session.
