Junior School News T2 W10 2021

What a fantastic Term 2 we have had in the Junior School!

I am so proud of all our students for the courage, curiosity and care they show each and every day when they come to school. Our parents have worked hard to make it through 10 weeks of school routines and lunch boxes. Our kids have worked hard to try new things and take on challenges both inside and outside the classroom. Our teachers have worked hard to help your child to achieve their own personal best. Our community is one that is unique, one that works together and one that makes Faith a special place to be. Over the upcoming holidays, I hope you can share some special family moments, listen to stories about what your children have learnt this term and take moments to pause, reflect and recharge where you can. Term 3 is already looking exciting, and I can’t wait to see all our students when they return on Monday, 19th July. It is wonderful news that we will be welcoming some new students into our Faith community next term, so if you see a new face around the school, please stop and say hello.

JUNIOR SCHOOL OFFICE – To support our growing community, the Junior School office will remain open these holidays. We trust this supports our families with queries, payments and preparations for Term 3.

JUNIOR SCHOOL DISCO – On Wednesday night, we danced, we had fun, we celebrated some House spirit with games and costumes. A big thank you to Mr Byrne, our resident DJ, and our parent volunteers for making this a wonderful community event as the term draws to a close.

JUNIOR SCHOOL REPORTS – We have been working hard to prepare our end of Semester reports to share with families. These will be made available in Parent Lounge by the end of Week 10. We hope you enjoy reflecting and celebrating the growth your children have achieved, academically or socially or both, at this midpoint in the year. Report cards help us to give parents a ‘snapshot in time’ of your child’s progress but we must remember the developmental journey of Junior School education. If all our students are curious and engaged in learning, giving their best effort and taking on new challenges then the efforts they put in will assist them to achieve their personal best. It is these partnerships between school, home and students that help us to work together to support your child through their educational journey.

Thank you for another great term of learning and community at Faith! We are so proud of each and every one of our students and thankful for the partnerships we continue to make and strengthen. We look forward to seeing you in Term 3.
