Building the Faith Difference

Funfest, High School Musical, Book Week – an incredible few weeks of community events in our 40th Anniversary year. Whilst it has been busy, it has also been a strong reminder of the power of our Faith community. The way we come together to celebrate our students and enjoy connecting with each other. Together, we guide and grow your children to flourish and become the very best “ME” that they can be. Our kids show their passion, commitment, determination, courage and care each day, both inside and outside the classroom. All of this happens because of our dedicated staff and supportive families.

Together we are part of something great, an energised learning community! Community isn’t about everything going smoothly, it isn’t about everyday being amazing – it is about being there for one another, lifting each other up with our words and remembering that our community is our culture at Faith. Culture is not something that just happens, it is something that each and every person connected to Faith builds and is responsible for. You play an integral part in creating, building and maintaining the Faith difference. So, let’s stand with each other, inspire and encourage each other and take time to connect with one another. As you get tired of making school lunches or your child loses their hat just one more time, remember to reflect on how far they have come this year and how much they have grown. Remember to say thank you to a staff member or parent that has helped you over the term or just been there to share a smile with you on a tough day. Remember that our Faith community is what it is because of what you do and say as part of it every day.

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL – Thank you to our community for coming together and celebrating our Musical production last weekend. It was high energy and our best production yet! We are so proud of every student that took part in this – from our set crew to our cast, to our volunteer students who helped to run the event. There was such a buzz and excitement about the show, and we know that it has set the stage and the standard for all of our future cultural events. We know that to successfully support our students through a production of this magnitude it takes an army of staff who worked tirelessly to ensure our students had what they needed to take the stage. So, I would like to take a moment to acknowledge our Musical Production Team for all their hard work, commitment and support of our students. A huge thank you goes out to – Mrs Carly Davidson, Mrs Jacinta Altmann, Mrs Annette Joyce, Ms Nicole Hutchinson, Mrs Leanne Wheeler, Mr Ashley Stephens, Ms Hayley Hoseck, Mr David Hartshorn, Mrs Kathrynn Feeney, Ms Brooke Edwards, Ms Isabelle Element, Ms Vanessa Rasmussen, Ms Bridget Nixon, Mr Matt Byrne, Mrs Gail Wildman, Mr Josh Lowe, Ms Kat Hardie. Without this incredible staffing team, we could not have shared such a fantastic production with our community.

SCHOOL RESUMES TUESDAY, 4 OCTOBER - One more week to go in Term 3 until the holiday break. We pray you have a refreshing time as a family over the holiday period and we look forward to seeing you all back on campus ready for Term 4 on Tuesday, 4 October 2022.

PREP 2023– Our Prep Orientation and parent information session date has been set for Tuesday, 11 October 2022. This is the day we will be welcoming next year’s preppies onto campus for their first classroom experience. If you know of a friend or family member still deciding where they will send their child to school next year, we still have a limited places available for Prep 2023. Encourage them to contact our Enrolments Registrar: Leanne Irvin to have all their questions answered.

Thank you for being part of our community and making Faith an amazing place to be!
